The swim-up bar is always a great time, and the ambiance is fun. A Free Tram Runs Around the IslandCocoCay is pretty big — it can take a good 20 minutes to make a loop.
You will not find any crew-led games for kids on the island. I've visited Perfect Day at CocoCay twice, and I've never seen the Up, Up and Away tethered balloon ride in action. A spokesperson for the line tells me it "is temporarily closed for maintenance until further notice." The closest lunch options to the pool are the Breezy Bay Snack Shack and Skipper's Grill. A nice hybrid area is the section of pool on the other side of the bridge, where you can hear the music but aren't in the bar fray.

A total of 35 beach bungalows (max capacity 6 guests each) are located in the island's South Beach ("members-only") area. Each bungalow rental deal includes beach mats (floating), beach towels and water. Transportation to and from the area is via private shuttles. To the amenities of CocoCay's South Beach area were added new restrooms (located nearby, at ~5-min walking distance) and a total of 650 sun loungers.

The pool has an official capacity of 1,750 people, but even with thousands of cruisers on the island, there are so many different zones it’s unlikely to ever feel overcrowded. Still, within the Thrill Waterpark, the incredible Wave Pool is the biggest in the Caribbean. When the countdown clock hits zero, the simulated waves create turbulent surf to buffet and thrill swimmers of all ages.
